FLEX Development Results in
World-Class Financial Application
 Symmetry
Partners, a nationally known investment company,
needed a true interactive portfolio management solution. Symmetry
looked to Brookwood to develop a comprehensive asset management
solution that could be customized to serve three levels of users:
clients, investment advisors, and broker/dealers. The final solution
was developed in FLEX because of its rapid development capabilities
and interactive output.
Brookwood
provided a key solution to Symmetry by using Adobe Flex to create
a secure, rich internet application (RIA). The solution enables
Symmetry stakeholders and financial custodial institutions to
access up-to-the-minute account data through a highly graphical
interface.
In
addition, Brookwood used PDF Generator from Livecycle to allow
Symmetry to design their own printed report templates from which
the system will produce printer friendly PDF reports that contain
all the rich graphics on the screen.
The
end result is a fast, flexible, rich-media enterprise application
which enables clients to aggregate account data via a highly interactive
interface and provides Symmetry Partners with a competitive edge.
