BMW-Electronic
Parts Catalog & Training The Need
Since 1975, BMW has been present in the North
American automotive world. They currently have
340 car, 327 SUV, 148 motorcycle, and 77 MINI
dealerships in the Unites States. BMW needed
an Electronic Parts Catalog training tool for
there employees to quickly access part numbers
and information. They came to Brookwood Media
Arts to design, develop and write this system.
The Solution
Brookwood Media Arts used a creative learning
scheme that included a detective character to
assist students through the learning process.
The "detective" made the system more interactive
and fun which increased retention rates. The,
easy to use and understand, streamlined navigation
system assisted the service representatives in
locating information quickly.
