The Need
A
Worldwide Theme Park and Resorts company needed
an intuitive and informative eLearning program
that would engage and educate travel agents,
while providing them with all the information
they need to effectively align customers with
the proper destination, taking full advantage of the flexible vacation packages
available. This tool would assist travel agents in their sales efforts and
help increase the agent's commission. This learning program needed to include
short learning segments so agents could complete sections quickly, and generate
higher completion rates for the program as a whole.
The Solution
Brookwood, Macromedia's "eLearning vendor
of choice" was selected for this project. Brookwood
has worked with Macromedia's top Breeze accounts
to build the highest quality products and has
been the top partner for Macromedia since the
inception of Breeze to their product line.
A state-of-the-art training program was developed,
leveraging Macromedia Breeze, which benchmarks
the standard for future programs created for
the Breeze platform. The result was an application
which is informative and engaging while still
being easy to use and navigate. The new tool
educates travel agents on the current vacation
packages and provides a quick, interactive
way to familiarize themselves with the features,
benefits, sales metrics, market goals and competitive
information necessary to effectively promote
and represent the options that best meet the
client's need and budget. Brookwood used a
combination of professional narration, text-transitions,
audio synchronization and visuals to increase
retention rates.
