Pepco Holdings Inc. (PHI) is an energy holding company engaged in regulated utility operations and sale of competitive energy products and services to residential and commercial customers. PHI delivers electricity and natural gas to more than 1.9 million customers in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey and Virginia, making it one of the largest electricity delivery companies in the mid- Atlantic region. PHI needed a high level eLearning program to educate their employees on the cyber security standards and how to protect critical cyber assets.

The Brookwood Solution

Working with a tight deadline of only 3 weeks, Brookwood produced 5 eLearning modules for PHI using their existing Flash User Interface. Using Flash, Brookwood produced 250 slides which included text, graphics, animations, audio, and a user friendly Flash menu for easy navigation. Participants are quizzed at the end of each module with the results tracked and delivered to PHI. Brookwood worked with PHI’s subject matter experts and project managers to storyboard the modules and to discuss creation of the animations which would best meet PHI’s image. The completed modules were produced on time, within budget and loaded into PHI’s LMS.
